It's been a good year for Woodstyle Homes! We are very excited to be Finalists in two provincial Georgie Award categories, as well as placing Silver in three Tommie Award Categories. What an honour to be in such a prestigious magazine twice in a row!

We were delighted to receive two Gold Tommie awards tonight at a gala event in Kelowna! What a pleasure to accept a gold award for Best Single Family Detached Home construction cost $750,000 - $1,000,000 as well as a gold for Best Interior Design in a Private Residence. Another exciting year for us including a feature article in Best Home Magazine for our new showhome and four Silver Tommie Awards! What an honour to be recognized in the categories of Excellence in a Single Family Detached Home construction cost $500,000 - $750,000, and Excellence in a Single Family Detached Home construction cost $750,000 - $1,000,000, as well as two Silver Awards in the category of Best Interior Design in a Private Residence. We are very excited to be attending the Gold Award ceremony in January and would like to thank our dedicated tradespeople who help us to create such beautiful homes as well as our wonderful clients.

It has been a great year for us and is shaping up to be a very busy 2007 with many homes that will be entered into the housing awards next year. We were pleased to have Remodelling Magazine contact us this summer and request permission to feature a photo of one of our kitchens in their upcoming fall issue. It is a well respected magazine in the building industry and we were happy to be a part of it.

Woodstyle Homes is pleased to announce that we have received three Tommie silver awards for 2005. Entries by builders in each category were at an all time high and the competition was amazing! We were very happy to be acknowledged in the categories of "Excellence in Single Family Detached Home 2,000 to 2,499 sq. ft." and "Excellence in Single Family Detached Home 3,500 to 4,499 sq. ft." as well as "Excellence in Brochure Design". Thank you to all of our customers this year and to our hardworking tradespeople.

Woodstyle Homes was once again honoured to receive three Silver Awards at the Annual Thompson Okanagan Housing Awards. Achieving 3 Awards for Excellence in the "Single Family Home" category, "is a tremendous thrill," says Donovan Imbeau. Nominations included a home in the "Best Single Family Detached Home over 4500sq.ft." category, and two individual Awards for Excellence in "Single Family Detached Home 2000-2499sq.ft."

Before a crowd of approximately 500 people, Woodstyle Homes of Vernon came out on top as the big winner with a total of 6 Gold Thompson Okanagan Housing Awards, "Tommies". Woodstyle Homes captured their second Best Builder title in 3 years, as well as taking home Gold in 3 of the 6 housing categories for single detached homes. They also picked up Gold for Best Website and their 3rd Best Customer Service Award in a row. "The real winners here are our customers" said Donovan Imbeau. "They put a tremendous amout of input and trust in us, building their homes, and without them this would not be possible."

Also from Vernon, Predator Ridge won 3 Gold Awards including Best Building Project.

This year has been fantastic for Woodstyle Homes of Vernon. They are enjoying great success in the residential home market after being named for Sixteen Housing Awards last week.

"I owe this success to a team that begins with our customers and goes on to the residential designer, interior designer, and last but not least, the construction team," says Donovan Imbeau of Woodstyle Homes. "It is the challenge to build what has been conceived that is so exciting."

Woodstyle Homes, once again, has been named Best Builder Finalist in the recent Thompson Okanagan Housing Awards. Woodstyle Homes took the top award of Best Small Volume Builder in 2000 after being a finalist in over a dozen different categories and this year has broken the record for the most nominations with Sixteen.

Winning an award demonstrates a commitment to the industry and more importantly, to their customers. Woodstyle Homes has also received several awards for their Customer Service and they are named again for the 2002 Tommie. On top of that, Woodstyle has positioned itself in all six "Best Single Family Home" categories, as well as "Best Kitchen", "Best Master Suite", "Best Feature" and "Best Interior Design".

Woodstyle attributes their success to their dedicated design and construction team. "Our customers deserve that," says Imbeau. After all, it begins with the customer and ends with them. "We don’t set out to win awards. We build what our customers want. Our customers have great taste for style and quality. That’s all there is to it."

The winners of the Provincial 2001 Georgie Awards have been announced and Woodstyle Homes has been chosen as a Silver Winner in the category of "Award for Excellence in Customer Service." It is an extreme honour to be one of the top 5 building companies in British Columbia in the running for this coveted Customer Service Award.
